Christmas Eve Service?

As everyone is probably aware due to the pandemic we have not been able to gather for worship. Sadly, this is true for Christmas Eve as well. I like many others can not remember a time when we have not been in church on Christmas Eve. The evening service is always one of the high points of worship during the year and often we are joined by many people within our family and community.

While we can lament our situation this year, we are not without the ability to give thanks and worship within our own homes. To this end I have prepared a special video celebrating Christmas Eve. I think you will like it. The video will be posted early on the 24th on the Lake City United Methodist Church Facebook Page.

My Sermon for Sunday will also be found here. It will be posted on Sunday Morning. This coming Sunday Sermon may not get posted on my BLOG this week. It seems after printing the file I inadvertently deleted the file without saving it. I can not longer find the sermon on my computer. I don’t think I am going to retype it. Sorry about this.

Even within all the ups and downs may your day be richly blessed as we celebrate the birth of Christ into our world and gift of life we have received through him. No matter how life seems to tremble our God is ever present and bring strength and healing into our daily lives. May you be blessed and rejoice in the hope that this season offers to every person!
