The First Week of Advent is a Time to Hope

I picked this up somewhere, but I am not sure of the source. Still in these times the thoughts and suggestions are worthwhile. How can you celebrate hope this week?

Monday: Isaiah 64:8. How do you think this verse gives hope to people?

Tuesday: Send a card to someone you feel needs to hear words of hope?

Wednesday: Pray for our country and the world that hope may be present within the leaders of every nation.

Thursday: Take a ten-minute break from the rush of the season. Sit quietly. Pray, asking God’s help to bring quiet and calm to a busy world.

Friday: Think about who in your family needs God’s hope? Pray for this family member.

Saturday: Share God’s hope with another. Visit or call someone and tell them one way he or she helps you feel hopeful.
